About Us

New World Audio is owned and operated by Sonny Maupin, a resident of Las Vegas since 1978. Maupin started out as a full time professional musician playing in the house orchestras of major Las Vegas showrooms such as the Tropicana, Dunes, Sahara and Riviera. Maupin also performed and toured with acts including Lola Falana, Albert Collins, The Imperials, The Checkmates, Robert Guilliam and numerous local acts.

In 1990 Maupin turned his interest in live audio and production into a full time venture and by 1995 New World Audio was the largest owner-operated professional audio company in southern Nevada.

From the beginning until today, professional equipment, seasoned professional technicians, personalized customer service and efficiency have been the hallmark of Maupin's successful operation.
